A clear tech pack reduces assumptions in an apparel quotation. It does not need to be visually elaborate, but the information used for costing should be consistent, identifiable and complete enough to explain the garment you want to develop.
Identify the style and its latest version
Give each style a reference, date and revision. Include front and back sketches or reference photographs and describe details that are not visible in the images. Mark which version is approved for costing and record open decisions separately.
If you are developing several styles, organise the files by style rather than sending disconnected attachments. State whether a reference is for silhouette, fabric, construction or colour; a photograph may not establish all four.
Include the information that changes cost
| Information | What to provide |
|---|---|
| القماش | Composition, construction, finished weight and desired finish |
| Measurements | Base size, measurement method and tolerances |
| Construction | Seams, stitch requirements, closures and important details |
| Artwork and trims | Dimensions, placement, colours, labels and accessories |
| Order plan | Quantity by style and colour, destination and desired timing |
Add packaging, testing and buyer-specific requirements where known. Explain which items are targets and which are mandatory. If the material is still being developed, request options rather than treating an unconfirmed specification as final.
Show the size and colour breakdown
A total order quantity is useful, but colour and size splits can also affect planning. Identify the size system and the expected range. Share grading requirements or a reference size chart when available, and distinguish body measurements from finished-garment measurements.
State the target currency and delivery terms. An FOB quotation and a delivered quotation cover different responsibilities, so a costing comparison should identify the named place and the included charges.
Keep questions and revisions traceable
Ask the sourcing team to return a list of assumptions and missing details with the quotation. Resolve important questions before approving samples or committing production. Record changes in one revised tech pack so the factory, merchandising team and quality team work from the same information.
A quote response time depends on the completeness of the brief, material enquiries and the approvals required. Treat any stated turnaround as a programme commitment to confirm with the team, rather than an automatic outcome from uploading a file.
Send a useful first enquiry
Our product development service covers the path from a brief to sampling, and التنسيق التجاري coordinates programme information. Use the quote form to share your style, quantities and destination. Avoid placing confidential third-party material in a public page; provide it through the private enquiry attachment.
